Christmas in the new house

We are in full holiday mode…the tree is up, mantel is finished, and Christmas trees are everywhere!  As mentioned in pervious posts, I decided to go with a natural holiday look by mixing green, brown and cream tones with varied textures.  I’m very happy with how it turned out and we are definitely enjoying it!

Today, I wanted to share an easy and affordable way to add some holiday decoration to your home.  I had set aside a couple empty boxes, which would normally go in recycling and instead, decided to make a gift tower.  I ventured off to HomeGoods and found wrapping paper with a more vintage look along with some green satin ribbon.  The entire project was less than $10 dollars and is a perfect addition to our fireplace decor.
