I’m Kristen Gonzalez, author of this site, Rosy as can be. The site is dedicated to those who love fashion, home decor and family life.
I’m married to my best friend, Vince, for over twelve years and mother to our three amazing children. We recently moved to Houston, TX where Vince has begun his Fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology at Texas Children’s. Our medicine journey has taken us all over the country! We’ve ventured to Boston, MA (2 weeks after we were married) for 2 years, Los Angeles for a short 9 months, Bird Rock – La Jolla for almost 2 years, Columbus, OH for 4 years (medical school at “The” Ohio State University), Chapel Hill, NC for 4 years (residency at UNC MedPeds) and now Houston TX! It has been quit the journey but I wouldn’t change it for the world.
After a successful career in event management, I decided to stay at home and raise our three children. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVED my job! Unfortunately, the traveling was just too much 🙁 Staying at home and raising our three children has been the most rewarding job ever. However, I’m not going to lie; it’s the hardest job I’ve ever had! Molding three human beings is no easy task! LOL. Life is crazy! And I’m just doing my best in seeing the rosy side of things all the while sharing it with you 🙂 I hope you enjoy your time here on Rosy as can be. It’s truly a passion of mine to share with you!
