Typically, Fall is just another season that brings change; but for many of us, it has a bit of a deeper meaning this year. It is an acknowledgment that we have survived the longest summer break in recent history (approximately 6 1/2 months, if you’re counting), a scorching summer with hurricanes and widespread fires, and let us not forget, a PANDEMIC. Whether your family is trying homeschooling or in-person learning, this Fall will hopefully provide more structure to our days, cooler temperatures, and plenty of fun decorations to distract us.
This brings me to my love of Fall decor and pumpkins. Decorating with neutral tones, mixing different textures, and using bits of nature can help create the perfect Fall look for your home. I particularly like using white pumpkins, as this can help create a more classic look…however you can also use any type of pumpkin to get a variety of different looks.
To give you a little chuckle, my family and friends always tease me this time of year for the amount of pumpkins that I buy and display in my home. The joke has become, “how many pumpkins do you have THIS year??” LOL. To be honest, I’ve lost count at this point…sooo here’s a fun pic of some of them as I began unloading my Fall buckets:
I don’t usually have a plan regarding how I will arrange everything; I simply start placing pieces here and there until I’m happy with how it all comes together. Here’s a look into our home this Fall…

I hope you’ve enjoyed all that I’ve shared and are able to find something for your home. As we all know, seasons change quickly and before you know it, we’re on to the next one. I encourage you all to do something that brings a smile to your face (maybe a pumpkin-spiced latte, lol) and try to savor this season. For more great finds, be sure to check out my daily posts here.
