After a fun night of trick or treating, I’m sure you’ve found yourself with buckets of candy! In fact, the kids bags were so heavy we ended up carrying them. I’m not a big fan of Halloween, but I do enjoy dressing the kids up and seeing how excited they are to go trick or treating. It’s the candy overload that is annoying!
Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for enjoying a couple treats here and there but there is no way a child nor adult should intake this amount of candy! So what is one to do? You want the kids to enjoy the treats and the holiday season but you don’t want to be the “Debbie Downer” and toss their candy. Luckily, some genius created the “Switch Witch!”
Have you heard of her? She’s every parent’s best friend this time of year! Approximately 4 to 6 days after Halloween, she comes into your home in the middle of the night, takes all your candy, and replaces it with a toy for each child. It’s a WIN-WIN! Everyone gets to enjoy the treats for a couple of days, no one is upset the candy is gone, and you’re still parent of the year!
Here are some great toys your Switch Witch can bring for your child…
As mentioned, I’m not big on Halloween so I decided not to wear a costume. Instead, I stayed warm and cozy in this sherpa fleece that’s on sale today. Be sure to check it out!
