It seems like September blew away just like the leaves do at this time of year. Unfortunately, the leaves are still on the trees and the temps are in the 90s here in Houston. But that didn’t stop us! Many of us updated our fall wardrobe’s, decorated the house in pumpkins, and sipped on pumpkin-spiced lattes. With that, I wanted to share some of my favorite September finds along with the month’s best-selling items.
Home Decor
Who doesn’t love cozying up on the couch this time of year (assuming the temp will eventually drop)?! This chunky throw blanket was a big favorite amongst you all; if you didn’t grab one then, now is the time, especially when it’s under $30.
Lanterns are an easy way to add coziness and personality to a room. I love the black metal and overall size; great for the coffee table or on the mantel.
Who doesn’t love a vintage book?! Not only are they pleasing to the eye, but they add texture and height to a space. These are great in quality and work well in any room of the house.
Throw pillows are also an inexpensive way to freshen up your couch. Many of you loved these checker plaid pillows, and they’re only 2 for $14.99!
Decorating your porch for the seasons is always fun. It’s a great way to add personality, color, and a warm welcome for your guests. This door mat did just that and stood out amongst many others with it’s vibrant color.
Fashion
For me, the shoes make the outfit…and I know many of you agree. These were the top sellers for the month. The nude heels are not only stylish, but oh so comfortable; the perfect height and price! These leopard print flats are also right on trend, but won’t make you break the bank. Both are a great option for fall!
This blouse was a favorite for all of us! I love the sleeve detail, the fun back, and the color. Overall, a great blouse for everyday style.
My Favorite Finds
September was a great month full of finding new favorites, ranging from beauty products and fashion, to home decor and seasonal pieces.
I absolutely fell in love with Charlotte Tilbury’s new foundation. If you tend to have more oily skin, then you will love it too. It replaces your moisturizer, is sweat proof, humidity-proof, waterproof, and transfer-resistant. It’s practically magic in a bottle!
Along with the foundation, I also found a great new line of jeans that I have basically lived in for the last month, lol. They are comfortable, affordable, and you’ll feel amazing wearing them. They come in multiple styles from frayed ends, to dark wash, and a distressed look.
Lastly, my favorite find this past month for home decor has been our monogramed throw pillows. The quality is amazing, I love the personalization, and let’s not forget, they’re reasonable-priced. Oh and did I mention, they come in nine different colors!
