We are so enjoying this time on winter break with the kids. Even though Vince has had to work, we’ve managed to have some great family time. The kids are having a blast with all their new toys and I seriously think we were in our pajamas for 36 hours, lol.
On to today’s post…Like the most of us, Vince’s favorite dessert is anything with chocolate and peanut butter. When I was planning our treats for the holidays, I came across this recipe that said, Reese’s Peanut Butter cups and peanut butter cookies…DONE! They are easy, quick and are insanely delicious!
Now, I did cheat a little, I did not make my peanut butter cookies from scratch. You totally could, however, I was looking to save some time. So, I used Betty Crocker’s Peanut Butter cookie mix, which was just as tasty. After mixing the peanut butter cookies, I used a mini muffin pan and filled it approximately half way with the cookie dough. I then baked them for 8 to 9 minutes at 375 degrees. When I took them out of the oven, I then placed a Reese’s Miniature Peanut Butter cup in each mini muffin. Then, I let them cool completely before taking them out of the tray. So easy and I love how perfectly shaped they came out! It’s the tastiest bite-sized treat!
