The Little Black Top -

You’re standing in front of your closet staring at your clothes, trying to decide what to wear, and you think to yourself “I have nothing!” We’ve all been there, especially when its for a fun night out with your girlfriends or a hot date night. My go-to is always ‘jeans and heels,’ but the top is where I get stumped. A little black top has become my easy answer; the color is flattering, fun, and flirty.

Recently, Vince and I got a babysitter for an adult’s night-out with friends. We enjoyed a delicious dinner at State of Grace, followed by drinks and live music at Axelrad. While both venues have a bit of a different vibe, the outfit seemed to transition perfectly. I felt comfortable and stylish (even as a 35+ mom of three who is typically in a t-shirt and jeans).
