Fatherhood is the undeniable love between a man and his child. With it comes immense responsibility, patience, and understanding. It is something greater than words can describe; it is giving a child unconditional love on a daily basis and uplifting them in everything that they do. Just as importantly, fatherhood is about giving that child both confidence in themselves, and in you.

I am fortunate to have three great men in my life that display these amazing qualities; my father, my husband, and my father-in-law. My father has taught me to believe in myself and the gumption to NEVER give up on my dreams. He has guided me in all directions of life and continues to do so today. My husband loves our children unconditionally and watching him on this journey of fatherhood has been one of the greatest gifts to me and our marriage. We are a team in every way and I am forever grateful for his love for our family. Behind this good man is a great father. My father-in-law demonstrates how a man should act and care for his family; he has taught my husband well. All three of these men have given me an undeniable confidence in their love for my family.

Ultimately, it is through our actions that allows us to show our love for one another. Words become meaningless if we do not follow through with actions of love, patience, and kindness. With Father’s Day approaching, I hope that we can all take time and show how important and appreciative we are of the men in our lives. I know that I am extremely grateful!
