This week has been exceptionally crazy! We are t-minus 19 days until we need to have the house completely packed up and ready for the big move. Add on end-of-the-year school celebrations and kindergarten graduations, living in a hotel for a week, and transferring our lives to Texas, and we’ve got the recipe for an emotional mess. At some point we will venture off on a road trip to Texas, where we close on our house mid June…(taking a breath lol), but until then, we are just a bit busy.
Needless to say, I am very thankful that it’s Friday and my husband, Vince, happens to be off. And what better way to kick off the weekend than with a delicious cocktail! Fortunately, Vince is a mastermind when it comes to putting together a well-deserved cocktail. It has become a celebratory event for us; a celebration that he isn’t working, we can take a breather, and enjoy the moment together.
The Devereaux is a favorite cocktail of mine. It’s a classic drink that’s perfect for all seasons. Be sure to grab these ingredients and make one for yourself; I promise you won’t be disappointed!
